The Elijah, Oh Sleeper, ADTR Dubstep?

Round 2, homies. Today, I've felt kinda hardcore. haha. School was stressful, but like....not ragey. haha. IT'S FREAKIN OKAY. So let's do this :)

The Elijah:

I think 6 months ago, I found this band. They're actually a pretty small band from the great UK, and besides their not so grand studio recordings, they have a pretty sick sound. It's like ambient(Yeah, I know. again) post-hardcore music, which is pretty legit. haha. Their screamo isn't the strongest, or best screamer ever, but their vocalist is pretty good and he kinda reminds me of like a younger Johnny Craig(Emarosa and DGD), if you listen to some of their other stuff. I actually haven't listened to them that much, but it played on my ipod today, and then I found this vid in my news feed on fb. haha.

Oh, Sleeper:

OH, FREAKIN, SLEEPER, DOOD. These guys are just too legit! haha. A bit more hardcore, but don't let the ragey lyrics fool you. This might sound weird, and it might not be your thing, but half their lyrics are biblical. These guys are the real deal. HARD.CORE.CHRISTIANS. Not just hardcore, not just Christians, not just some Christians that play hardcore music, but freakin hardcore Christians playing hardcore music. I remember a time when I was kinda getting into a lot of trouble and giving up on life, but the song "Reveries of Flight" played through my car stereo, while my ipod was on shuffle, and the lyrics hit my core(no pun intended). I'd reeally encourage you to read them, but to each their own. And on top of that, watching Micah's testimony(the screamer) on youtube was really inspiring. Anyways, legit music, keepin it fresh.

A Day To Remember(Dubstep?):

Hahaha, so today I drove my buddy home from college, and we were jammin to some dub. I reeeally wish I had this on my ipod...but I don't. anyways, It's hardcore techno(not hardcore techno, but HARDCOOOOREEEE TECHNOLOLOGY)and it's pretty sick. almost dirty. jk. it's super dirty. KAY I'm DONE.

Chow, Jerd.
