Some older stuff, but I still loves these peeps. Keepin it fresh, old school style.
Jonezetta:
Something about these guys is soooo solid! I absolutely love them. a rusky voice mixed with poppy-rock music kinda defines them. I really love their lyrics(especially in their other songs like The Queen City Song, Paint and Picture, and Holding Unto You). These guys are cool. the end. (and sorry about the bad audio quality. Idk why they published this without making the audio nicee.)
As Cities Burn:
Yeeeeeeaaah budday! As Cities Burn are on of those groups, where if their lead singer tried out for American Idol, they'd reject them without a listen, but he's so passion filled and I love what he does with the music. I found them about the same I discovered Jonezetta, which was kinda fitting.(If you listen to the weird song called Capo, it has the lead singer of Jonezetta in it. lol) Some of their music on their latest/best album(in my opinion) has and olderschool rock feel, and holy crap, just saw a guy wearin a utilikilt....hahaha. anyways, check out As Cities Burn if you like this. It might not be what you expect, depending on the song, but yeah. Cheers! (Btdubs, their old stuff has screamo in it, if you want that.)
Edison Glass:
Edison Glass was probably the first band I've listened to with that weird indie feel and the higher pitched voice. They have a lot of really incredible guitar riffs and complex drum patterns. I especially love this song, due to the dynamically dramatic feel, and the weird count that it is. Whenever I'm covering this song, I get a little too into it. haha. It's just too good to pass up.
